BALL was originally created in Italy.
Relaunched with respect for history, BALL was founded in 1974 in Rimini by Aldo Ciavatta and marked the beginning of a new era for jeans and denim interpreted as fashion. It introduced the concept of stonewash to denim and provided better fit and comfort. Simultaneously, denim products were incorporated into seasonal collections as a marker of the fashion landscape of the time.

Ciavatta revolutionized product development by drawing inspiration from the American dream. Defining the style of the 1970s and 1980s with colorful logo sweatshirts and loose T-shirts that blended seamlessly with jeans in perfect fits, BALL quickly became famous throughout Europe for its highly recognizable products, especially jeans characterized by the iconic double fly.
